Taking photos at events
Please be aware that photos may be taken during the various public events run by the ÖBf. These photos may be disseminated online and offline on ÖBf channels or in the press (website, Facebook, etc.) in connection with reports about the event and for public relations reasons. Upon request, photos can also be downloaded by participants and used for private purposes.
Wherever possible, information on taking photos at events will be clearly communicated to guests in their invitation or at the entrance area of the event.
Consent will be assumed unless a visitor informs the on-site photographer otherwise before the pictures are taken.
Should you change your mind at a later date and recognise yourself in a photo which you would like deleted, you can contact us at any time without giving reasons by emailing bundesforste [AT] bundesforste [.] at, providing details of the event date, event name and photo. The image in question will then be deleted as soon as possible.

If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, or that your right to data protection has been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
